Pulled my swaybar mounts and POR-15’d my frame and the brackets yesterday. Windy, blowing shit all over my fresh paint. Making the mistake of putting down plastic wrap instead of wax paper to dry the brackets. Watching the brackets slide off onto a dirty surface when I did find wax paper. The wind kindly pulling up the duct tape and wrapping my freshly painted parts in paper. All in all painting sucks.
Still, based on how well it sticks to your hands, I’m pretty confident that if the frame rusts it won’t be there.
Now, if anybody in the Toronto area wants a mostly-unused POR-15 kit at a discount, let me know.

I use DOM16 from Napa. Cheaper and way less prep work.

I'll keep that in mind next time I do anything like this. Which will hopefully be never.
